Description
Delheim Gewürztraminer 2026 is an aromatic Stellenbosch white built around the variety’s distinctive floral perfume, ripe fruit, and gentle sweetness. The style is expressive without becoming heavy, with bright acidity providing enough lift to balance the wine’s richer tropical and honeyed character.
The nose opens with lychee, pear, rose petal, Turkish delight, and delicate spice. On the palate, tropical fruit, orange zest, and honeycomb bring richness and texture, while a touch of residual sweetness is balanced by lively acidity. The finish is long and perfumed, carrying the floral and spiced notes through cleanly. It would pair especially well with spicy Asian cuisine, fragrant curries, soft cheeses, or simply serve chilled as an aromatic aperitif.
This is a characterful Gewürztraminer made for early enjoyment, with enough freshness and balance to remain expressive over the next few years.

In the cellar
The grapes were gently cold-pressed, with only the free-run juice selected to preserve delicate aromatics and fruit purity. Fermentation and maturation took place in stainless steel over approximately eight months, maintaining freshness and clear varietal expression. The wine was lightly fined and filtered before bottling to retain clarity and balance.
