Description
Delheim Sur Lie Chardonnay 2024 is a balanced Stellenbosch white that combines ripe citrus and stone fruit with restrained oak and a fresh, clean finish. The style sits comfortably between richness and freshness, with enough texture to give the wine presence without obscuring the fruit.
The nose opens with citrus and stone fruit, supported by subtle oak spice. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and composed, with gentle creamy notes adding texture while bright acidity keeps the profile lively and focused. The finish is fresh and balanced. It would pair especially well with grilled yellowtail, roast chicken, or a Dijon and tarragon cream sauce.
This is an approachable, food-friendly Chardonnay with enough structure and freshness to develop well over the next few years.

In the cellar
The supplied technical notes appear to relate to a Noble Late Harvest or botrytized wine rather than Delheim Sur Lie Chardonnay, so no fermentation or maturation details have been included here until the correct cellar information is confirmed. The wine’s tasting profile indicates measured oak influence and a creamy texture balanced by fresh acidity.
