Description
Tokara Sauvignon Blanc 2026 is a bright, coastal-influenced white that brings together fruit from Stellenbosch and Elgin in a clean, energetic style. The blend combines ripe tropical character with brisk acidity and a lightly saline finish, giving the wine both immediate freshness and a clear sense of regional lift. It is a polished everyday Sauvignon Blanc that feels precise without becoming overly lean.
The nose opens with lemon sorbet, guava skin, and Cape gooseberry, followed by concentrated citrus and tropical fruit on the palate. Bright acidity keeps the wine crisp and focused, while a subtle oyster-shell salinity adds a savory edge to the finish. It would pair especially well with grilled prawns, fresh oysters, goat cheese, or light summer dishes, though it is equally suited to drinking well chilled on its own.
Made for youthful enjoyment, this is a refreshing Sauvignon Blanc with enough fruit concentration and mineral detail to keep it engaging from first pour to finish.

In the cellar
The fruit was sourced from selected Sauvignon Blanc vineyards in Stellenbosch and Elgin, with each block hand-harvested at optimal ripeness to preserve bright fruit and natural acidity. After gentle pressing and overnight settling, only the finest juice was cold fermented in stainless steel to retain aromatic purity and freshness. The final components were then blended, stabilized, and bottled to preserve the wine’s crisp, coastal character.
